Begining of a Triathlon Addiction

Triathlons are pretty Fantabulous and yes I did make up that word. I have a feeling that I'm going to become addicted even more so quite soon - I joined a traithlon team in NYC and started going to the practices last week and absolutely loved it - first of all, having a team to train with is amazing.  When asked what my plans are for that day/night, I love saying "Well, I have swim practice tonight."  I'm pretty sure it all stems back to gymnastics - I just love the structure of it all. It's what I grew up with. The running practice was quite difficult and included running up and down a hill several times for 25 minutes but after it was over even though I was quite tired and my legs were dying because I cant remember the time I ran longer than 3 miles I felt amazing. I'm so excited to be starting out in this sport - I've done one (last July) that was quite last minute (i signed up about 6 weeks prior to the NYC triathlon through a loophole, trained and did decently) and the minute it was over I decided I wanted to do it again. Low and behold I was on the internet at midnight November First when spots for the NYC tri opened.

Cant wait for July! Cant wait for the summer in general! I want to do more than one!!! yay!!!:)
