Prepare for WARRRR

So said Clay Burwell when I told him I had taken the weekend off from working out.  He wasn't kidding.


Super intense workout this morning. Warmed up with some jumping rope, right into some rear delt work, Turkish Get-ups right into Push Presses, and repeat.  Right after this, went into 3 sets of wide-grip pull ups, and my arms were on fire!


Things start to get a little fuzzy here, as these intervals were fast and non-stop.  Deep squats, right into squat thrusts, and over and over again.  Some reverse curls, and then farmer's walk, with a weighted vest.  Glad I didn't open my mouth and say how easy it was...I was tempted...until the first set of 3 rounds was done and Burwell made me go right into lunges.  More farmer's walking, (oh yeah, that's holding two kettlebells in each hand, helps with forearm and grip strength).


This was a great, fast, intense interval strength training workout.  I burned about 715 calories by the time we started stretching...Max heart rate reached 196.
