In this week's episode, episode 6, something really strange happens, Jackie Warner seems like a nice person!

The Work Out crew and their clients are still at the Dolphin Hotel for their weekend retreat. The weekend was about working out, discussing their issues, and having therapy to get to the heart of their weight issues. 

Natalie asks why when you are feeling depressed, you go for sugar and comfort foods.  Jackie explains that it has to do to with how people grow up and eat crap to feel good. 

Some tricks Jackie explains to her clients, when eating out at a fast food restaurant, you can’t only go for salad.  Lettuce and some vegetables are not going fill you up.  But, if you order a chicken sandwich, get rid of the buns and add it to the salad, that is a good meal.  (Also expensive since you are basically buying 2 meals, and kind of defeats the purpose of eating at a fast food restaurant in the first place).

After a long day with the Sky Labbers, Jackie headed for bed.  The rest of the trainers, however, stayed out and decided to drink it up a little bit.  They all decided to keep it hidden from Jackie.

Jesse starts talking to JD about setting him up.  Why not?  Plitt starts breaking out the shots.  Plitt said it got a little bit rowdy, and they started doing it up.  Rebecca starts imitating Jackie, then Plitt and Renessa start raunchily re-enacting alleged scenes between Kevin Federline and Britney Spears (all pretty corny).  K-Fed and Britney get a little too into it, and this starts making the reset of the people feel uncomfortable, and they all take off, leaving just Plitt and Renessa.

They start taking pictures on top of the bar, then decide to go swimming in the hot tub.  Plitt keeps the party with Renessa; taking it into the pool.  They are both pretty drunk, then go from the pool to the hot tub. 

A few of the trainers are watching them off the balcony.  They’re still drinking, but Renessa isn’t going to make a move.  She was waiting for him to do it.  Finally, she asks if they should get another drink, and Plitt makes out with her.

The other trainers are still looking on, commenting about Plitt and Renessa, who eventually disappear into the night.  Jackie is going to be pissed!

The next morning, everyone is gossiping about the night before.  Renessa comes out in Plitt’s sweatshirt.  Erika says, as Gregg Bulter puts it, “Renessa got T-Boned!”  But as Jesse says, getting trashed and having sex with your co-worker is Sky Sport.

She was a sloppy mess, and still drunk, but at least she was still there.  (Remember, it’s 5AM)

Everyone is now outside with the clients.  Jackie is pissed that Plitt isn’t there.  Someone says something about him being hung over, then apparently they mention the drinks the night before and Renessa’s hookup.  Erika’s client, Damon, has a hectic work schedule, and drove home at 3AM.  Since Plitt was too drunk to be there, Erika trains his client, Victoria.  Jackie is livid and talks a lot of trash to the group about him. 

Renessa starts apologizing to Jackie.  She then starts resenting it, feels that if you can run 20 miles a day, still have a good time, and get T-Boned by Greg Plitt, then she is awesome and inspirational. (Work hard, play hard, is a theme among these trainers)

Everyone (minus Plitt who showed up on his own) is back on the bus as the weekend retreat ends.

Back at Sky Sport, and JD is training Shannon.  She really likes him and how gentle yet motivating he is with her.  He feels they bond because they both have family issues. 

Greg Plitt comes back to Sky to look for Jackie since he heard that she was pissed.

Jackie says she waivered back and forth about letting him go.  He apologizes and says it wouldn’t normally happen. Jackie asks if he is an alcoholic; they both start laughing.  The two have a good conversation, and Jackie says that he has one more chance.  Jackie decides to shuffle things around and gives him Deenie as his new Sky Lab client.  (Jackie is suddenly turning over a new leaf?  She is communicating with her employees.  First Renessa, then Plitt)

JD comes to visit Shannon and her daughter with cerebral palsy at a therapy center for her where she gets to ride a horse. 

Jackie calls Don Scott about Doug Blasdell’s fundraiser.  She immediately tells him about how Brian Peeler is no longer with Sky Sport.  Jackie says that if he was a part of Doug’s life, he should be there.  Peeler is at his brand new gym, The Body Image. Butler calls it a “nice, little gym,” but Peeler is on hard times.  Of course, Peeler has separated from his wife, and along with losing his job, really is not a happy camper.  He is concerned about the fundraiser.

Commercial

Peeler is in his car driving around, talking about how this year has been so bad, he lost his best friend, his job, and now his wife. 

We are at the fundraiser. All the trainers are there commenting about how nice the event turned out.  Jackie finally shows up, and says she wants to stay away from Peeler. Everyone starts noticing that Peeler is hitting the booze a little bit harder than he probably should be. 

There is a live auction going on, and Peeler runs back up to the bar.  It seems like everyone is practically waiting for him.  In any case, part of the presentation is that Jackie was supposed to get up on stage to liven up the crowd. Jackie pulls up Rebeecca and JD to help congratulate the winners of each item they sell, since they are what Jackie’s gays like. 

The auctioneer gets up on stage, and the auction begins.  Eventually, Peeler starts yelling for people to show some more money, and he gets up on stage.  Peeler offers his services for one week on top of the item on the auction.  Jackie is smiling, as nobody increases their bid as drunk Peeler, according to Jackie, is a “trainwreck.”

Eventually, the auction is over, and there is a little meet and greet.  Peeler comes over to Jackie and asks her to have a quick chat.

Jackie goes outside to talk to him because 1) she doesn’t want to cause a scene, and 2) she has heard about his personal life.

Peeler starts telling her how he loves her, and that they are two separate corners of a triangle, and put it together, and they form a point going in the same direction.  He then asks if she wants to work with him again, and she says no.  Peeler’s all drunk, and flips out.   Jackie walks away, and Peeler runs off into the night.  That was the worst occasion to get sh*tfaced and make a fool of yourself.
