It’s not over yet. We have one more week of this show with the reunion! The show was structured around a Q&A format with the host asking Jackie and the gang questions submitted by viewers through the Bravo website.
Q and A session begins
What are those things around the trainers necks? Microphones. Duh.
What’s in the protein shake? Whey protein, Amino Acids, Flaxseed oil, Mega Green powder, and fruits. Jackie has this and oatmeal every morning for breakfast.
How much does it cost to work out with Jackie? $400/hr. Didn’t look like she really wanted to say on TV.
The topic of Mimi comes up. The joke makes a funny and tells the group that they have a special guest, Mimi! Just kidding. Jackie is pissed about the joke but relieved that it was, in fact, a joke.
Footage of Post-Mimi Jackie. Getting close with girls, fondling girls, making out with girls. As Jackie says best herself, “Being a slut…works for me.”
They broach the topic of Andre getting upset about how straight chicks go for Jackie. Jackie calls him insecure for saying that he gets his own fair share of women. Andre denies that it bothers him. Jackie again attacks him and says that the fact that he has to say that means he is insecure. She sure picks on Andre and Peeler a lot. Hmmmm.
Now on to the meat of the show, Rebecca and Jackie. The guy trainers point out that guys obviously have different standards regarding what is appropriate regarding dating two chicks. For example, if you are banging two chicks, you don’t invite them both out to the same dinner function.
Jackie won’t answer who is the better kisser, Tiffany or Rebecca.
Jackie had no idea she and Rebecca would get that much attention for their relationship. She won’t answer whether or not they are still together. For someone who puts her therapy session on air, she sure isn’t that forthcoming. Rebecca says it is Jackie’s call. Brian comments on whether they are still together or not. Jackie gets annoyed and says it would be a cold day in hell before she takes relationship advice from Brian, who points out he is in a great relationship, much to the chagrin of Jackie.
Now it’s Jesse’s turn! Jesse says that Rebecca wanted more screen time which is why they got together. Wait for it, wait for it...
Catfight!!!
No, no catfight. Darn. Jackie beats Jesse down a little (much more lovingly than she does with Peeler and Andre) and they talk about how it was mainly displacement issues and how he took it out on Rebecca. But, there was no all out brawl when Jesse points out that this was a huge screen time thing.
Rebecca denies hooking up with Jackie for the limelight. She admits that she did have a boyfriend at the time when they got together.
Jackie justifies her dating an employee is okay because it’s a gym. And because she’s Jackie.
We see footage of them making fun of each other to the camera, most of what we had seen on air before.
Then, we see harder trainer trash talking; footage that we hadn’t seen.
More viewer Q&A.
Biggest gossip – Jesse
Biggest flirt – Rebecca
Biggest to follow through with a flirt – Jesse
They start talking about body dysmorphia in LA, and how it’s not just everyday people but trainers too, which is why it makes it easier for them to bond with their clients.
Jackie’s opinion about cosmetic surgery – inform yourself and get your body to the healthiest it can be, and only then consider it. Lots of people don’t change their lifestyle before they get gastric bypass surgery. The crux of the problem remains if you don’t address the root causes of obesity.
Erika admits to having had plastic surgery.
Sugar is the Devil!
Jackie’s philosophy: M-F, no sugar; only eat protein, vegetables, whole grained starch. Sat/Sun, you can have sugar. Break the addiction during the week. Sugar is the problem, not fat in this country.
More Q&A.
Best alcohol to drink is clear liquor.
Lunges and squats are the best to build up your butt.
Is it bad to workout on an empty stomach? On empty stomach, your blood sugar drops, and dropping and spiking your blood sugar is bad for the metabolism.
Sky Lab – footage from the season of Sky Lab and their progress.
Lori is in the studio, having lost 50 pounds since the start of Sky Lab. Lori tells us why she loves Sky Lab because of the camaraderie of doing this with a group of people. (Except for Kiki). She is way more confident.
Footage of Jackie and her mom and how their relationship grew. Jackie’s mom said that the stress during pregnancy might have caused Jackie to be a lesbian. The host says this caused a lot of controversy. Jackie doesn’t care about that, just the fact that her mom is trying to learn and accept her. Jackie’s mom’s friends have stopped calling her.
A segment devoted to Doug and how much he affected the trainers. They get teary eyed in this one.
What are they doing now?
Jesse started a healthy food delivery service.
The Laugh Factory invited Zen back to perform stand up.
Gregg is going to be moving towards music.
Andre wants to bring fitness to minorities.
Erika needs a guy who is smart. (and a prominent bank account)
Peeler’s scar on his head is from a diving accident when he was 10.
Rebecca was asked back to the Amazing Race all stars, but she declined.
And so ends Cycle 2 of Work Out. This season sure had some ups, downs, and zigzags. Will it be back for Cycle 3? My guess is yes, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Oh yeah, I think they said that Jackie is no longer with Rebecca. There’s a shock for ya.
