Since graduating from Emory University in 1998, Dan has been training people at all levels, and he has built a reputation as one of the finest coaches in the Northeast. Segelin's broad mix of knowledge and application has provided long lasting results for his athletes. He has coached All-American, All-Region, and All-Conference athletes - many of whom have won Conference, State, or National titles.
A former professional soccer player in Cleveland, Segelin began coaching and training when his career ended due to numerous knee injuries. All of the time spent in the training room motivated him to make sure that other athletes would be able to prevent similar injuries through proper strength and conditioning. Now, his programs vary from sports performance, to rehabilitative, to weight loss.
Segelin's training methods blend a variety of movements and exercises including weightlifting, gymnastics, CrossFit, Pilates, kettlebells, rowing, and more. These workouts, coupled with proper nutrition, have enriched the lives of countless athletes across the country. He holds the NSCA-CSCS, NASM-CPT, and is certified in Crossfit, kettlebell instruction, and indoor rowing.
