Fifty, two-person teams will rely on their brawn and brains as they compete to win the BlackBerry Curve Challenge: Destination Alcatraz, by navigating the streets of San Francisco and conquering challenges on Alcatraz Island.

Participation is free and open to adults aged 18 and older.

Registrations begin on Saturday, June 7 at 9 a.m. PST. Up to 50 teams will be accepted on a first-come basis.

Three out-of-state teams will be among the competitors. They qualified at challenge events in Boston, Minneapolis and Portland.
