What is the best brand for protein shakes?  Right now, I am using Isopure, which I like because it dissolves, but it is kind of expensive.

there is a new online nutrition company that has received some pretty amazing reviews. You can check it out at

www.mynutritionstore.com/nickianderson

There's some great products backed up with a lot of scientific data which may help you in your search.

Try Champion Nutrition pure whey.

go for chocolate, it taste like real chocolate & its rather tasty, vanilla is kinda diluted in texture.

My personal favorite is Cytosport Muscle Milk Light. It's the best-tasting (even when it's just stirred into water), and it has 1/3 the fat and 44% less calories than the original Muscle Milk. You can get it pretty cheap on vitacost.com.

I prefer the Vanilla Creme flavor for mixing into shakes, but here's the full list:

  Banana Crème
  Chocolate Caramel Swirl
  Chocolate Milk
  Chocolate Mint
  Cookies 'n Crème
  Crème Brulee
  Dark Chocolate
  Peanut Butter Chocolate
  Strawberry Banana
  Strawberry Milkshake
  Vanilla Crème

The Best brand?

EAS

Myoplex Deluxe, is the best shake that's out there, but it tasts horrible.

I'm a fan of muscle milk, cookies and cream.

I also make my own shakes adding yogurt, peanut butter, bananas, etc

Muscle milk, as great as it taste, claims it burns fat but it has like 16g of fat and 4 g of saturated? Isn't this just gonna get someone fat...

Unfortunately majority of protein products are expensive here, we pay about 3 x what they do in USA and its illegal to import whey without a license.

I'd recommend Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey
Official page here:  http://www.optimumnutrition.com/products/100-whey-gold-standard-c-3.html?zenid=1f3bd4242a4e916330534f734b387ff0

I'm a fan of VANILLA for cooking (eg; protein pancakes etc)
and to drink, usually chocolate :) tastes like Nesquik!

Otherwise if you're looking for a higher calorie shake I'd recommend Dyamtize Mega Shake Cookies & Cream, love it!

I used to take the EAS Myoplex Nutrition shakes and they worked really well for me, unfortunately back home (NZ) the cost of the 18 and 36 packs were very expensive. Now I’m in Melbourne I’d really like to try something that has the same high protein and multivitamin content but I don’t want to take out a mortgage just to afford my supplements. Can anyone recommend a good website where I can buy cheap Myoplex or another product that will give similar results?

Hey everyone... regardless of what brand of whey protein you are using trying mixing it with www.eggwhites-international.com 100% Pure Liquid Egg Whites instead of using water or milk.  You can use 1/2 the amount of whey... get more actual protein into your body because the Egg Whites are 100% Bio-Available, and it makes for a better tasting shake and texture too!

Hope that helps!

Mr Majestic...

Here are my two favorite online supplement stores:

www.eggwhites-international.com/discount-anabolics

www.eggwhites-international.com/bulk-nutrition

Hope that helps!
