FitFiend.com is an online social networking service that allows Members to set up unique personal profiles and track workouts and physical progress, connect with workout partners and fitness professionals, and exchange information with other Members. As part of our Service, we may post public pictures or excerpts from blogs and forums to other pages on FitFiend.com to enhance the relevance and quality of the Site.

Your registration information

As part of the registration process for FitFiend.com, you will be asked for a screen name, an email address and a password. Once you have registered, you can choose to create a profile as either a fitness professional (FitPro) or a regular member (FitFiend). The information that you add in your public profile will be visible to other Members when they view your profile.

How we use your personal information

We collect and use your personal information to operate FitFiend.com and to deliver services that are a part of our fitness community. This includes using the personal information that we collect to provide you with a customized website.

We also use your personal information to send you information about FitFiend.com. This may include welcome letters, reminders about events and security announcements. We may also send you occasional communications about other FitFiend products or services that become available and ask you if you would like other people to receive those communications.

We will not sell, rent or lease any information that we have to third parties; occasionally, we may contact you on behalf of FitFiend partners about a particular offering that you may find interesting. If we do contact you in that way, that third party does not receive any of your personal information. We will never disclose to any other third party any sensitive information, such as your birth date, without your explicit consent.

How we use cookies

We use cookies to let you sign in to FitFiend.com and to provide you with a customized website that stores your preferences and history. A cookie is a small file that your internet browser lets our server place on your computer to identify you. The cookie is only readable by any server in the perplexcity.com domain, and cannot be used to run programs on your computer or to install software on your computer.

We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. You may be able to configure your browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set -- each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences -- however, you must enable cookies from FitFiend.com in order to use most functions on the site Please note that FitFiend allows 3rd party advertisers that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Advertisers' use of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not the FitFiend Privacy Policy.

FitFiend.com contains links to sites. Our Site is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site.

Security

FitFiend.com takes precautions to insure that Member account information is kept private. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time.

Refer a Friend

If a Member elects to use our "refer a friend" feature to invite a friend or client to become a Member of the Site, we ask them for the friend's e-mail address. We will automatically send the friend an e-mail inviting them to join the Website. We store this e-mail address for the purpose of automatically adding the respondent to the relationship list of the Member sending the invitation and vice versa. We will never sell these e-mail addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations. Any person who receives an invitation may contact Us to request the removal of this information from our database.

Changes in Our Privacy Policy

FitFiend.com reserves the right to make changes to our privacy policy. If we do make changes, we will post them on the Site and notify Members about the changes. Continued use of the Site by the Member constitutes adherence to our privacy policy.
