Is that a normal person doing P90X?

If you've followed this blog for any amount of time you have heard me blog about how to do P90X with my wife.We have two children at home, we have time to work full time, and I go to school full time.If you do the math, that means we are not too much free time.Add the fact that we were both in the last four months, associated with various diseases, one day when my wife was sick at home, riding public transport and in different schools, and there are good reasons for uswill never try to be another week P90X.

Winter is here

Ugg 18F this am.  Winter is finally here.  Every year it gets harder to accept the onset of winter.  Once the colors of October fade and fall to the ground I fall into a serious funk.  My fitness wanes and I fall into a funk.  It usually takes me about 6 weeks to finally pull myself back and just deal with the fact that it's going to be colder, and darker for the NEXT 6 weeks.

Each off season I try to get into a strength training routine to try and build some muscle mass.  As my season progresses and I get into the long-duration workouts, (think 6 hr bikes, 3hr runs) I have to give up the gym to put in the Long Steady Distance.
And each year I end up falling back into the same old weight routine. Upper body 3 days, Lower body 3 days and some cardio.  Wash, rinse, repeat... 
This year I decided to do something different.  I drank the kool-aid and bought the P90X video series.
